First time kennelling our 2 Staffies. Both came back healthy, staff seemed lovely and caring. We’ll be booking them back in for sure 🐾

People there were very friendly and helpful when booking for our dogs to stay, when collecting the dogs from their stay, the people who brought them out were friendly, the dogs both looked so happy, and all in all I think they enjoyed their stay! Would highly recommend precious pets for anyone thinking of putting their dogs into boarding!

Excellent kennels, our dog loves going there. Always welcoming and look after the animals very well. Would highly recommend!

My two girls went here for the Christmas period whilst I went away to visit family. No communication regarding updates on my girls after messaging them on numerous occasions. Both girls came back dangerously thin which involved me having to contact my vets for them to be put on supplements to help with their weight gain. Their bed and new Christmas toys and them came back smelling damp along with their harnesses. When I messaged them to say I wasn’t happy with how my girls had been taken care of I got a message saying they were lively with them! And two photos of them on a walk blurry. I do not recommend and will never send my girls here ever again. Personally I would avoid precious pets.

Very impressed. Pleasant and straightforward arrangements, keen to be helpful, clearly love the animals, good communication. Our pets had a fabulous time and we highly recommend this business ! We'll be back!

I'm not really sure how I should review precious pets. The communication prior to my dogs going was amazing. My dogs stayed only 3 days in the kennels as i collected them early due to coming off holiday earlier than expected. I phoned a few times whilst away and was told both dogs were settled and eating and drinking well. On getting home with my dogs I realised one was peeing very frequently...crying to go outside very few minutes but hardly going and then also noticed she was peeing blood. ...an emergency visit to the vet then be diagnosed with a urine infection which she is now on antibiotics and anti inflammatory probably due to not drinking much. I am no way blaming the staff at precious pets as it must be hard to monitor especially when both my dogs shared a kennel. I just wish if something was noticed then I was told. I think a way the service could be improved is maybe If there was an option for photo updates when the dogs were out on their walks or even a live webcam to the kennels. I don't think I will be using kennels again as one of my dogs ovbiosuly found it pretty stressful. Like I said ...I am not blaming precious pets for my dog being unwell They have amazing reviews and that shows for something.

Punchy my dog has been called Crunchie for 5 days! I went to collect her and was asked who I’d come for so I said punchy and got a strange look, because they had called her the wrong name. Her blanket toys and treats were still in the bag untouched. She’s come back with no voice and limping not impressed at all.

Sorry pressed 1 star as I wasn't sure how to leave review. Collected my 2 Staffies, 1 is a real mummies boy. Both looked really well and no sulking when we got home always a bonus.. I will be back. Thanks

We use Precious Pets on a pretty regular basis and have used them for a few years now & highly recommend them. Their rates for boarding are reasonable as well...& we have 4 dogs. They offer special rates if you are boarding more than one dog which is an excellent incentive. The staff are brilliant with our hounds too.Our dogs always come home looking fabulous & smelling sweet what more can you ask for? Thanks to Paula & Steve & all the staff x

Very helpful and friendly staff... I love the fact that most times when I pick my two dogs up (they only ever do one or two nights) they have even been washed and smell lovely. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. They are most definitely not in the middle of nowhere as one review describes.
